LeicestershireLive launched the Women in Business Awards 2021 to recognise the achievements of female entrepreneurs and professionals across Leicestershire. As headline sponsors, we’re playing a key role in highlighting the work of female business professionals in the region and helping to choose the finalists for each category.
The Women in Business Awards is an important event in the local business calendar, celebrating female role models for future generations.

It is well documented that across the UK, females in business continue to face barriers and are underrepresented in leading roles and sectors. As this is an issue that could affect more than half the population at some stage in their lives and has such a wide-reaching impact on an individual and societal level; we are certainly keen to help tackle it.

Hosted by TV presenter Emma Jesson, the awards will mark the achievements of the outstanding female entrepreneurs and businesswomen who have helped make Leicestershire such a great place to do business.
